Moving into a first apartment can get expensive fast, and Verizon is trying to make at least one part of the process cheaper for new grads and first-time renters. The carrier has introduced a new bundle that combines mobile service and Fios home internet, starting at $69.99 per month.

The deal targets people setting up life on their own for the first time, and combines Verizon’s wireless and home internet services into a lower-cost package. It also offers optional device protection for laptops, gaming consoles, and other tech often used in apartments or remote work setups.

Verizon’s Bundle Combines Mobile and Home Internet

The promotion includes two main services: Fios 300 Mbps home internet for $19.99/month and one Unlimited Welcome mobile line for $50/month. Together, the bundle starts at $69.99 per month.

However, customers must enroll in Auto Pay, bring their own phone, and use Verizon’s Mobile + Home Discount program to qualify. The offer is aimed primarily at new customers seeking a more affordable way to cover both home and mobile connectivity with a single provider.

Verizon says the 300 Mbps Fios connection is designed to handle common work-from-home and entertainment tasks. This includes large file uploads, video meetings, streaming, and gaming.

Optional Device Protection for Tech Gear

Alongside connectivity, Verizon is also promoting its Home Device Protect service, which can cover electronics such as laptops, monitors, gaming consoles, and other home tech. The protection plan is designed for people moving into new spaces who may want extra coverage for their devices during or after the move.

Targeting New Grads and First-Time Renters

This Verizon campaign leans heavily into the “adulting” phase many younger customers experience after graduation or when moving into their first apartment. By combining multiple services into one lower-cost package, the brand is positioning the bundle as a budget-friendly option during a time when expenses can quickly pile up. The company is also encouraging parents helping new grads transition into independent living to consider the bundle as a way to keep monthly costs manageable.
