Toyota today announced its latest generation Highlander SUV. Available as a 22mpg V6 or 34mpg hybrid, the 2020 Highlander builds upon the company’s renowned TNGA-K platform.
The Japanese automaker will unveil the new SUV during the upcoming New York International Auto Show (Apr 19th – 28th). Created to cater to young families, the Highlander offers three rows of seating, with room for up to eight passengers.
To boot, there’s a number of advanced safety features, including pre-collision braking, full-speed dynamic radar cruise, lane departure warning, automatic high beam, lane tracing assist, and road sign assist.
Each package (L, LE, XLE, Limited, and Platinum) comes standard with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, SiriusXM, Waze, and Amazon Alexa compatibility.
The 2020 Highlander will be available in Magnetic Gray Metallic, Moon Dust, Ruby Flare Pearl, Blueprint, Opulent Amber, Blizzard Pearl, Celestial Silver Metallic, and Midnight Black Metallic.
While pricing has yet to be announced, the 2019 model launched with an introductory price of $31,500.
