We’ve seen almost all kinds of gaming chairs but the new Vertagear PL500 is the first one we’ve seen with actual crystals.
Created in collaboration with world-renowned jewelry maker Swarovski, this $600 chair is designed to house small crystals in the pockets of its design.
Surprisingly not as flashy as you would think, the PL500 features a mix of faux leather and fabric and Vertagear’s patented HygennX coffee fiber technology. The crystals can be found on the Vertagear logo as well as on the diamond patterns found on the chair’s design. It’s accompanied by a steel frame, aluminum alloy base, and gas lift.
The Vertagear PL500 also offers common gaming chair features such as lumbar and neck support, adjustable seat height, adjustable backseat (up to 140 degrees), adjustable tilt with locking system, and adjustable 3D armrests.
This chair, with its Swarovski crystals, is indeed fancier than most but at $600 seems fairly priced when compared to its competitors. It’s flashier than your average IKEA gaming chair but not as outrageous as a gaming throne.
