TCL is rolling out its own Roku-powered 8K TVs just in time for CES 2019.
Boasting some 33-million pixels (compared to 4K’s 8-million), TCL’s 8K lineup is poised to become the company’s most advanced TV yet.
Dubbed the ‘8-series’, this new line will join the company’s existing range of 6- and 7-series televisions.

TCL says its 8K lineup will be available in screen sizes of 75-inches and larger, and will feature sophisticated upscaling technology that allows lower resolution content to look more natural.
And away from the screen, the company says it’s also working closely with Roku to develop better microphone technology. The goal is to create a far-field array that will enable the user to take advantage of voice-commands, even during noisy situations.
TCL is expected to release more details this week at CES.
