Taco Bell Volcano Menu

The long wait is finally over! The highly requested Taco Bell Volcano Menu has officially made its comeback after an eight-year hiatus. Below is everything you need to know about its epic return.

What is Taco Bell Volcano Menu?

The Taco Bell Volcano Menu is a menu that features spicy items. It includes the Volcano Taco, the Double Beef Volcano Burrito, and the option to add Lava Sauce to any Taco Bell item.

The Volcano Menu was first introduced in 1995 and was discontinued in 2013. It was brought back for a limited time in 2015 but was discontinued again shortly after. The menu’s popularity has led to many petitions and social media campaigns calling for its return. Taco Bell finally caved to fan demand and announced in June 2023 that the Volcano Menu would be making a comeback on the 29th of the month. However, like its 2015 return, the Volcano Menu’s 2023 comeback will also run for a limited time.

What is Taco Bell Double Beef Volcano Burrito?

Priced at $3.99, the Double Beef Volcano Burrito wraps seasoned rice, seasoned beef, a three-cheese blend, reduced fat sour cream, crunchy Fiesta tortilla strips, and Lava sauce in a warm flour tortilla.

What is Taco Bell Lava Sauce?

The Lava Sauce is a spicy nacho cheese sauce made with habanero peppers and red jalapeño peppers. It was first introduced in 2008 as part of the Volcano Menu and quickly became a fan favorite. The sauce has a medium-to-hot heat level, and it has a smoky, slightly sweet flavor.

On the decision to bring back the Volcano menu with the help of Hilton, Taylor Montgomery, US Chief Marketing Officer at Taco Bell, said: “We’re always listening to our fans, and the extensive passion and needs of the Volcano fanbase could no longer go unmet. Taco Bell is always looking to deliver on the ‘surprise’ factor for fans and build on our reputation of choosing authentic partnerships with those who are already mega-fans. So, to bring the heat for this major campaign, we called on none other than Paris Hilton. Always in the know of what’s hot, Paris will help bring back these beloved items of the 2000s that never go out of style.”

Krystal Hauserman, CMO of Hilton’s next-gen media company, 11:11 Media, added that the Hot Line is just the beginning of the celebrity’s partnership with Taco Bell. Hauserman teased that fans will soon be able to join the fun in other ways including on TikTok and through new music by Hilton.
