What if your phone plan could give you more than calls, texts, and data? T-Mobile is introducing a new lineup of wireless plans that lets eligible customers choose perks such as Xbox Game Pass, streaming services, and music subscriptions. The move could give gamers a new way to access a huge library of games without signing up through a separate service. Keep reading to find out how T-Mobile’s new plans work, which benefits you can choose, and when they become available.
Xbox Game Pass hits T-Mobile
Starting this November, gaming gets a major boost. T-Mobile is officially bringing Xbox Game Pass to wireless plans for the very first time in the U.S.
Eligible subscribers can select Xbox Game Pass Ultimate or Premium as an included benefit, opening up an instant library of hit games. Players can stream and play across the devices they already own, including Xbox consoles, Smart TVs, PCs, and smartphones without paying for a standalone subscription.
A first-of-its-kind plan built around choice
The Xbox partnership headlines T-Mobile’s newly announced T-Mix lineup: a customizable wireless program that replaces rigid, static carrier bundles. Instead of locked-in perks you might never use, T-Mix introduces customizable allowances called Picks.
Subscribers can use their Picks to build a personalized suite of digital perks, entertainment, and tech upgrades. Beyond Xbox Game Pass, the lineup features:
- Entertainment & Streaming: Netflix, Hulu, Apple TV, Disney+, Paramount+, YouTube Premium, and ESPN Unlimited.
- Music & Audio: Apple Music, Pandora, and SiriusXM.
- Lifestyle & Perks: DashPass by DoorDash, Delta SkyMiles, and Google Gemini AI.
- Mobile & Hardware: Device upgrades, T-Satellite access, and Optimized Video Calls for priority network speed.
Swap benefits four times a year
Consumers keep their phones for roughly three years on average while spending around $219 a month on various subscriptions. Yet, standard mobile plans only change about once every six years, leaving people paying for unused perks.
T-Mix fixes this by letting customers adjust their benefit mix every three months across four annual change windows—at no extra cost.
“The wireless industry has spent decades telling customers what their plan should be — even though 84% of consumers surveyed want more control over what they pay for,” said Allan Samson, Chief Marketing Officer at T-Mobile. “One-size-fits-all was simple for the industry, but for customers it turned into one-size-fits-nobody. T-Mix flips that model, giving customers more say in what matters to them and plans that they can change as their lives change. This is another big step in our journey to make wireless value more relevant, more flexible, and built around the customer.”
T-Mix Plans, Pricing, and Extra Perks
T-Mix launches in November across three main tiers (rates reflect AutoPay pricing, plus taxes and fees):
- T-Mix Standard ($55/month for 1 line): Includes core wireless features plus 1 Pick.
- T-Mix More ($75/month for 1 line): Includes core wireless features plus 2 Picks.
- T-Mix Loaded ($95/month for 1 line): Includes core wireless features plus 3 Picks.

T-Mobile estimates that T-Mix Loaded delivers at least $120 per line in monthly plan features and perks ($1,440 annually). Discounted rates will also be available for college students, military and veterans, first responders, and seniors 55+.
Alongside the new Picks system, all three T-Mix plans will include T-Mobile’s existing membership perks. These include T-Mobile Tuesdays, hotel and rental car offers, exclusive ticket access, and special experiences at festivals and other major events.
Members can also receive a complimentary premium in-flight drink on eligible Delta flights and access Club Magenta experiences at events such as the Las Vegas Grand Prix, MLB All-Star Game, Lollapalooza, and Stagecoach.
T-Mobile says T-Mobile Tuesdays provided more than $900 worth of free items per customer over the past year. The company plans to continue offering these perks alongside the new customizable benefits.
With T-Mix launching in November, customers will have a new way to combine wireless service with gaming, entertainment, and other subscriptions. The key difference is that they can choose the benefits that suit them and adjust their selections as their priorities change.
