This may be the droid you’re looking for! Anker has released a special-edition variant of its pocket cinema projector, the Nebula Capsule II, that’s sure to excite Star Wars fans. The original Nebula Capsule II came in a subtle black design but this one is designed to look like one of Star Wars’ favorite droids, R2-D2.
Aptly called the Nebula Capsule II R2-D2 Edition, it not only looks like R2-D2 but sounds like him too. The device is equipped with a special R2-D2 startup sound that’s exclusive to this limited-edition variant.
Users will still be able to enjoy all the comforts the Capsule II offers including its palm-sized form factor and cutting-edge DLP technology for producing bright 720p images of up to 100 inches. It’s also equipped with premium Scan-Speak transducers and can last up to 3 hours of continuous use. The device runs on Android TV 9.0 so users will have access to a number of apps and wireless casting from various devices.
As for pricing, the Nebula Capsule II R2-D2 is available for $699 on Amazon and seenbula.com, and this adorable device is limited edition – only 1,000 are available for sale. This special edition variant is also only available in the U.S.
