Take your Star Wars fandom to the next level by giving your home a makeover with this new collection of furniture inspired by the epic space opera franchise.
Simply called KENNETHCOBONPUE Star Wars line, these pieces of furniture are designed by Filipino industrial designer Kenneth Cobonpue in collaboration with Walt Disney Company and Lucasfilm. Launched in October last year at KENNETHCOBONPUE Manila Showroom in the Philippines, this unique line of intergalactic home décor is consist of three easy armchairs, a rocking stool, and a hanging lamp inspired by the iconic characters and vehicles from the sci-fi franchise.
In a press release, Cobonpue said that creating the Star Wars collection was a challenging yet enjoyable experience.
“We wanted to incorporate the essence of each Star Wars character into the designs, while staying true to our aesthetic and process of creating them by hand. We reimagined the Star Wars universe through the lens of the Filipino craftsman and creative. Finding the balance was a bit of a challenge, but it was also a lot of fun,” said Cobonpue, who has also worked on designs for several international airports and children’s playgrounds.

VADER Easy Armchair
With its very versatile look, this easy armchair can be used as a personal nook at home or a fancy business chair at the office. It features a foldable swivel table, an open weave canopy, and a Darth Vader mask-inspired seat cushion that is achieved through meticulous stitching.
SIDIOUS Easy Armchair
The backrest of this easy armchair is raised higher to resemble the signature hood of Darth Sidious. The silhouette effect of the furniture symbolizes the mysterious nature of the character, while the chair’s throne-like body signifies his powerful and formidable presence in the galaxy far, far away.
IMPERIAL WINGS Easy Armchair
Inspired by the Imperial fleet’s single-pilot space vehicle, this easy armchair features handwoven polyethylene, which signifies the agility and strength of the iconic starfighter. This piece of furniture is available in gray and black.
CHEWIE Rocking Stool
In a playful nod to Chewbacca’s body hair and bandolier, this rocking stool is made with brown microfiber strips wrapped with a fabric belt.
LITTLE JEDI Hanging Lamp
This light fixture is made with a steel base and salago fiber, which is applied by hand to add volume and body. The lamp’s light source is the lightsabers wielded by miniature figures of Jedi Knights. The red figure that stands out from the rest of the figurines is a Sith Lord that the Jedi’s are battling against to eradicate evil.
KENNETHCOBONPUE Star Wars line will make its debut in the U.S. this May.
