What is Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test about?

A reality quasi-military training TV series, Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test is an adaptation of the British reality series SAS: Who Dares Wins. It is produced by Banijay and Minnow Films.

In season 1, 16 celebrities are dropped in Wadi Rum Desert in Jordan, each intent on surviving some of the harshest, most grueling challenges from the actual Special Forces selection process playbook. As they try to survive demanding training exercises, the contestants quickly learn the meaning of “no guts, no glory” — and no glam.

The participants are led by Directing Staff agents Rudy Reyes, Mark “Billy” Billingham, Jason “Foxy” Fox, and Remi Adeleke, who are all ex-special forces operatives. Reyes is a former United States Recon Marine; Fox, a former SBS operator; Billiy, an ex-SAS Sergeant Major; and Remi Adeleke, a veteran Navy SEAL Senior Chief. The quartet serves as the presenters of the show, with Shaun Dooley narrating the first season.
