Walking is reliable, but sometimes you just want to get where you’re going a little faster and have more fun along the way. Woot has dropped the LaScoota Foldable Adult Scooter from $90 to $50, saving you $40 on a lightweight ride built for teens and adults alike.

The LaScoota isn’t motorized, so there’s no battery to charge or range to worry about. Instead, you get a traditional kick scooter with large 200mm wheels, front suspension, an extra-wide deck, and three adjustable handlebar heights. It also folds and includes a carrying strap, making it practical for short commutes, trips around the neighborhood, or keeping in the car for whenever you need it.

Why Choose This Foldable Scooter?

Comfort matters when you’re riding over sidewalks and less-than-perfect pavement, so LaScoota equips this scooter with its LATTA suspension system. The front suspension helps absorb bumps and reduce vibrations as you ride, while the wear-resistant wheels are built to handle regular use.

Speaking of the wheels, they are fairly large for a kick scooter. At 200mm, they’re designed to roll smoothly and make maneuvering easier. Combined with the suspension, they make the LaScoota more comfortable for cruising around the neighborhood, heading to school, or covering the last stretch of a commute.

You get a deck that measures approximately 22 inches long and 4.75 inches wide, providing a spacious platform while you’re riding. Plus, it has a non-slip surface that helps keep your feet planted, which can be especially useful when navigating turns or uneven pavement.

The handlebars offer three height settings at 89cm, 94cm, and 99cm, allowing you to adjust the scooter for a more comfortable fit. And for braking, this foldable scooter uses a heat-treated rear brake to help you slow down and stop when needed.

The scooter combines aluminum and steel construction with rubber handlebar grips for a sturdy build, while the push-button folding mechanism makes it easy to store. LaScoota recommends it for ages eight and up, including teens and adults, and rates it to support riders weighing up to 105kg, or about 231 pounds.

At $50, the LaScoota Foldable Adult Scooter won’t replace a car or electric scooter for longer trips, but that’s not really the point. For quick neighborhood rides, short commutes, or simply cruising around with the kids, its folding design, suspension, and adjustable handlebars offer plenty of everyday convenience for the price.
