Sanrio has expanded its digital presence with the debut of My Hello Kitty Café on Roblox.
What is My Hello Kitty Café?
Created in partnership with the game development studio Rock Panda, My Hello Kitty Café is an immersive experience on Roblox that allows guests to unleash their creativity in building, managing, and expanding their own virtual café with the help of Hello Kitty and her Sanrio character friends.
Starting from a simple café truck all the way to a massive coffee house, guests can style their cafes with unique Hello Kitty décor and create original menu items for their customers. With a built-in Gacha system, they can also collect an array of different Hello Kitty-themed staff members along with multiple characters from Sanrio. These include My Melody, Pompompurin, Kerropi, Tuxedosam, Pekkle, Pippo, Marumofubiyori, Strawberry King, and Wish Me Well.
Aside from running their own cafés, guests can also hop on the Shinkansen to explore Hello Kitty City and visit a friend’s Cafe Town to see what they are up to.

As the world moves to the digital space, we are evolving with our audience to create authentic digital experiences that are uniquely Sanrio,” said Craig Takiguchi, Chief Operating Officer and Head of Business Development at Sanrio, Inc, in a press release. “Sanrio’s online presence will allow players of all ages to express themselves through our characters and extend the inclusive and kind Sanrio community to the digital world.”
