In a move that’s sure to elevate the robot vacuum game, Roborock unveiled its new Qrevo Curv and Edge robotic vacuums recently at IFA 2024, and they’re not just another set of pretty faces in the world of automated cleaning. These bad boys come equipped with an industry-first liftable chassis, meaning they can both lift themselves up over obstacles.
This is made possible due to their AdaptiLift Chassis, which allows the Qrevo Curv and Edge vacuums to dynamically adjust their height by up to 10 mm, giving them the superpower to clean those tricky mid-pile carpets that other robots fear to tread.
But these little transformers don’t stop at carpets. They’re also ready to take on the urban jungle of your home, conquering thresholds up to 3 cm high. That’s right, no more getting stuck at doorways like some robotic damsel in distress.
The AdaptiLift Chassis employs a three-wheel system that enables the vacuums to navigate different surfaces with improved efficiency compared to other robot vacs. The front wheel can elevate by 10 mm while the rear wheels adjust accordingly, allowing the devices to overcome thresholds up to 30 mm high for standard obstacles and 40 mm for double-layer thresholds
This adaptable chassis works in conjunction with Roborock’s obstacle avoidance technology, effectively enhancing the vacuums’ ability to clean various areas without interruption.

While the liftable chassis is stealing the spotlight, that’s not the only way that the Qrevo Curv and Edge wipe the floor with the competition. The Curv and Edge models also feature a new Dual Anti-tangle System made up of a DuoDivide Main Brush and a FlexiArm Arc Side Brush, which work in tandem to achieve an unheard of 0% tangling rate.
The Qrevo Curv and Edge also features HyperForce Suction with 18,500Pa of suction power, so these vacuums don’t just clean – they practically inhale dirt.
The Qrevo Curv comes ready to charge inside the uniquely curved design multifunctional Dock 3.0. This isn’t just a charging station; it features hot water mop washing, intelligent dirt detection, dock self-cleaning, warm air drying, and automatic dust bin emptying and water tank refilling.
So, if you’re ready to welcome our new robot overlords (of cleaning, that is), the Roborock Qrevo Curv will be available for a cool €1499.99 in Western Europe. Pre-orders kick off on September 9th on Roborock.com.
At IFA Roborock also unveiled its new slim model, which is the industry’s slimmest 3D Time of Flight (ToF) navigation robot vacuum coming in at 8.2cm. It offers advanced navigation, obstacle recognition and robust suction, all in a truly sleek profile. The Roborock Qrevo Slim is priced at €1299.99.
Roborock’s President, Mr. Quan, said
We are thrilled to pioneer a revolutionary shift in smart home cleaning with our latest product unveiling at IFA 2024.
One thing’s for sure, in a world where even our vacuums are getting smarter, the Qrevo Curv is proof that sometimes, to clean better, you’ve got to aim higher – literally.
