This promotion is Popeyes’ way of converting even the most stubborn “boneless deniers” into “boneless believers” by letting them try the new menu item for free. Free Popeyes Boneless Wings on July 6th
Last week, Popeyes added Boneless Wings to its menu, sparking debate among chicken wings lovers across the United States. While a lot of fans have warmly welcomed the Popeyes Boneless Wings to the wings family, several chicken lovers are skeptical about the new menu item being a member of the wings family. In fact, the restaurant chain reported that 63,000 people have tweeted their disdain for boneless wings on the Internet.
In a new press release, Popeyes officially made its stance public and that is boneless wings are wings. And in a mission to convert even the loudest Boneless Deniers into Boneless Believers, Popeyes is reaching out to the thousands of X users who publicly proclaimed their disdain for boneless wings to offer them codes redeemable on the Popeyes website and app for free 6-piece Boneless Wings with any purchase made on the Popeyes website or app on National Fried Chicken Day on July 6th.
This one-day-only promotion is also open to Popeyes Rewards members, who can get a free 6-piece Boneless Wings with any purchase (excluding taxes and fees) at participating restaurants across the U.S.
“When planning our Boneless Wings launch, we noticed a lot of people have pretty strong opinions about them – and many claim their minds can’t be changed. We’re here to challenge that,” said Jeff Klein, President of Popeyes North America, said in a statement. “Our Boneless Wings can win over the tastebuds and the keyboards of even the most stubborn Boneless Deniers, and to prove it we’re giving everyone a chance to try them this National Fried Chicken Day.”

In addition to the one-day-only Boneless Wings promotion, Popeyes is also giving Popeyes Rewards members a chance to get a free 6-piece Boneless Wings with a $10 minimum purchase (excluding taxes and fees) at participating U.S. restaurants through July 14th.
