OnePlus has just announced its latest headphones — the OnePlus Buds Z2. Successor to the OnePlus Buds Z, these are set to arrive in the US and Canada on December 16th.
For the second generation Buds Z, OnePlus highlights its 40db active noise cancellation that should effectively filter distracting background noises. It’s complemented by ENC 3-MIC call noise reduction so your friends, family, or workmates can hear you clearly, even in a noisy environment.
The buds themselves have been crafted to produce a deeper, richer sounding bass which is delivered by its 11mm dynamic drivers. The OnePlus Buds Z2 offers 3 immersive sound modes alongside a transparency mode for when users still need to hear the outside world. Touch controls can also be found onboard.
The new buds carry an IP55 water and sweat resistance rating which means they should be able to handle getting wet. Its charging case, on the other hand, is IPX4 which means it can withstand mild splashes.
If not for sports, the Buds Z2 can also be an accessory for gamers thanks to its 94ms ultra-low latency through Bluetooth 5.2. And whether you’re running a marathon or marathon gaming, the Buds Z2 offers 38 hours of playtime for uninterrupted use.
Additionally, if you’re in a rush, its 10-minute Flash Charge can supply up to 5 hours of use.
OnePlus users will also get the added benefit of Dolby Atmos support when pairing to the new Buds Z2.
