OnePlus has once again stepped up to the plate, with a new smartphone offering that is sure to be a hit with nerds all over the country. The company’s new flagship device, the OnePlus 6, is as glassy as it is classy and could definitely be described as the most sophisticated phone the company has ever released.

On the first appearance, its glass body is a standout feature. This is the first time that OnePlus has gone for an all-glass body and it looks and feels brilliant in every single color its available in.

OnePlus’ latest offering will be released on May 22 and is priced at $529, which is approximately half the price of the iPhone X.

With its classy design and cheaper price, it is hoped that the OnePlus 6 will rival the iPhone X in the premium smartphone market.

It will launch with three color options, Midnight Black, Mirror Black and Silk White.

OnePlus’ features are sure to please even the pickiest of consumers – there is a top-of-the-line Snapdragon 845 processor, a pair of 16- and 20-megapixel rear cameras, and a 19:9, 6.28-inch AMOLED display with a 2280 x 1080 resolution and the ability to record slow-motion video at 480fps. The 16-MP lens comes with optical image stabilization as well as an image sensor that is 19 percent larger than OnePlus 5T’s outgoing model’s.

Its gesture-based controls will make users feel as though they have stepped into a science fiction movie from the future.

The base $529 model comes with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, which if you compare this to the $819 Samsung Galaxy S9+, it’s incredibly affordable.

OnePlus 6’s software will be a treat for gamers everywhere. It works on the OxygenOS skin atop Android 8.1 Oreo. There is also a gaming mode that will prioritize bandwidth over background apps and it also has a gaming battery saving mode.

It’s sure to be a hit with fans of OnePlus, especially at this low price. We’ll have a full review of the OnePlus 6 up soon.
