The newest Eggo waffles: Eggo Grab & Go Liege-Style Waffles

Eggo waffles are commonly cooked in the toaster before consumption, but the brand’s latest waffle innovation allows fans to eat their favorite morning dish on the go without warming it up.

Aptly called Eggo Grab & Go Liege-Style Waffles, these all-new breakfast treats are bistro-quality handheld waffles, crafted with busy parents in mind. While they can be enjoyed warm straight from the toaster like other frozen waffles, these are the first-ever Eggo waffles that can be eaten at room temperature, as they thaw in just under an hour.

Inspired by a classic Belgian street food staple, Eggo Grab & Go Liege-Style Waffles feature a golden brioche dough and are baked through with crunchy bits of pearl sugar. They are made with real butter and don’t contain artificial colors and flavors. They are also infused with maple flavor, so no syrup or toppings are needed, making them a convenient, mess-free breakfast option for parents on the go.

“Mornings are tough for families. We heard from parents that they often sacrifice their own needs, like skipping breakfast, in order to make sure their kids get a great start to the day,” said Joe Beauprez, Marketing Director with Eggo, in a press release announcing the new Eggo waffles. “That’s why we created the new Eggo Grab & Go Liege-Style Waffles with busy parents in mind. These delicious and satisfying mess-free waffles are perfect to enjoy during carpool drop-offs, while commuting to work, and especially when you have a jam-packed weekend filled with back-to-back sporting events for your kids.”

Eggo Grab & Go Liege-Style Waffles come in two delicious flavors: Buttery Maple and Strawberry. Both flavors will be available in a 4-pack box for $5.99 and a 12-pack box for $12.99 at retailers across the country starting this month.
