M&Ms brings back popular Cookies & Creme flavor

If you love the bottom of the ice cream cone, this M&M’s flavor was made for you, but it’s a limited run

It’s creamy. It’s crunchy. It tastes like the bottom of an ice cream cone. And somehow, it’s an M&M.

If your summer snack rotation needs a shake-up, M&M’s just delivered. The newest limited-edition flavor is Cookies & Creme. And unlike some of the brand’s weirder experiments (remember Jalapeño M&M’s?), this one is going fast for all the right reasons.

Each candy packs a white and dark chocolate center—no crispy rice, no peanuts—just pure cookies-and-cream vibes. Some fans say it reminds them of the chocolate-dipped tip of an ice cream cone. Others say it’s fudgier than expected. Either way, no one’s mad.

And if the name sounds familiar, you’re not hallucinating. M&M’s had a Halloween version a few years ago called Cookies & Screeem, but this summer edition skips the spooky branding and dials up the smooth, creamy finish.

This isn’t a permanent menu item, so if you’re tempted, now’s the time. The Cookies & Creme M&M’s are showing up at Albertsons, Safeway, Vons, M&M’s retail stores, and online. They’re set to disappear at the end of summer—but if history’s any clue, they’ll be wiped from shelves long before then.

So yeah, maybe grab two bags.

Whether you’re tossing them into a batch of cookies or just straight-up housing them by the handful, these M&M’s are shaping up to be the sleeper hit of the season.

You’ve been warned.
