LEGO unveils Star Trek: The Next Generation U.S.S. Enterprise-D set for Black Friday
Every year, LEGO drops a major new release just in time for the holiday shopping frenzy of Black Friday. This year, it’s a massive model guaranteed to delight science fiction fans: the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D from Star Trek: The Next Generation.
LEGO and Paramount officially unveiled the LEGO Icons Star Trek: U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D on Monday, calling it an “intricate model” that offers fans a galactic journey in creativity. This detailed replica of Starfleet’s legendary flagship is composed of 3,600 pieces, making it a substantial build.

The completed model showcases several iconic features from the series:
- A detachable command saucer section.
- The secondary hull and warp nacelles featuring their distinctive red and blue accents.
- An opening shuttlebay with two accompanying mini shuttlepods.
Adding life to the massive starship are nine exclusive minifigures of the beloved TNG crew, each complete with a signature accessory:
- Captain Jean-Luc Picard (with teacup)
- Commander William Riker (with trombone)
- Lieutenant Worf (with phaser)
- Lieutenant Commander Data (with Spot the cat)
- Beverly Crusher (with PADD)
- Lieutenant Commander Geordi La Forge (with tricorder)
- Counselor Deanna Troi (with PADD)
- Bartender Guinan (with drink)
- Wesley Crusher (with portable tractor beam generator)

Designed to be a “captivating sci-fi decor piece,” the set includes an angled display stand featuring an information plaque for the starship model. A separate display tile, branded with Star Trek: The Next Generation, is also included for showcasing the crew minifigures.
Fans will get their first in-person look at the new Enterprise-D set this weekend at the LEGO Holiday Lane event at Water Tower Place in Chicago. This immersive, brick-inspired festive celebration runs from November 7–9, 2025.
