Ever wanted to design your own LEGO minifigure? Well, the time has finally come to do just that with the new LEGO Originals Wooden Minifigure.

Unveiled today at a LEGO Originals Pop Up Store and Gallery in London, the LEGO Wooden Minifigure is a beautiful, 5:1 upscaled, posable wooden version of the classic LEGO minifigure first introduced to LEGO sets back in 1978.

Reflecting LEGO’s origins as a producer of handmade wooden toys, this premium-quality model is handcrafted from FSC-certified oak, with adjustable yellow plastic hands just like today’s LEGO minifigures. The last LEGO product to combine both wood and plastic was the 1130 Bedford Firetruck that was released 60 years ago in 1959.

Measuring over 7 inches tall, 4 inches wide, and 3.5 inches deep, the LEGO Wooden Minifigure can be displayed as it is or can be customized based on your own preferences. Presented in a premium gift box, the LEGO Wooden Minifigure comes with a 28-page booklet featuring inspiring examples of how LEGO designers personalized their models.

The booklet also has instructions on how to build five fun little models for the minifigure to hold using the 29 LEGO elements included in the set. The booklet also features the history of the LEGO minifigure and the story behind the development of this special wooden model.

Priced at $119.99, the LEGO Wooden Minifigure will be available directly from select LEGO Stores and LEGO.com starting November 3rd. But if you happen to be in London, you can drop by the LEGO Originals Pop Up Store and Gallery in Shorts Garden from November 1st to 2nd for a chance to pick up this rare and limited-edition model before its official release date.

Update: The LEGO Wooden Minifigure is now sold out/unavailable for purchase.
