The Fab 5 Loft from the hit Netflix series Queer Eye has gotten the LEGO treatment.
Officially revealed on Monday, the LEGO Queer Eye – The Fab 5 Loft set recreates the original Atlanta loft featured in the first two seasons of the reality TV series, where Bobby Berk, Tan France, Antoni Porowski, Karamo Brown, and Jonathan Van Ness first assembled as the Fab Five to embark on a mission to change people’s lives for the better.
Created for adult fans who love stylish, modern design, and elegant architecture, the 974-piece set is packed with authentic details and accessories that highlight each of the Fab Five’s talents.
The set itself captures Bobby’s style as an interior designer and features his laptop and the idea board he uses to develop concepts to help “heroes” transform their living or work spaces. Style guru Tan has a clothing rack where he can plan outfits for “heroes” that will match their personality and make them feel great about themselves. There’s also a kitchen island where food and wine specialist, Antoni, can help “heroes” learn new culinary skills and express themselves through food.
The couch and the scrapbook included in the set are for life coach and therapist Karamo, who supports “heroes” on their personal journeys by helping them make sense of their pasts and chart a way forward Lastly, Jonathan, the grooming consultant, has a salon area complete with a swiveling barber’s chair, where he helps heroes take care of how they look and see their true inner beauty.
The set includes minifigures of the Fab Five and two minifigures of Jonathan’s beloved High School teacher Kathi Dooley who was featured in one of Queer Eye’s most inspiring episodes to date. The said episode celebrated the positive influence Kathi had on Jonathan and reinforced the importance of children receiving genuine support from the adults in their lives as they work to find their true, awesome selves. To recreate Kathi’s emotional makeover in that episode, the set features a transformation chamber and before and after minifigures of the show’s very special guests.
Completing the fabulous set is a figure of fan-favorite Bruley the dog and a coffee-table-style instruction booklet that gives an insight into how LEGO designers and the Fab Five collaborated on the project.
