iHome has announced an Alexa-powered vanity mirror that streams music, audiobooks, and more.
With the simple tap of a button, owners can use iHome’s built-in version of Alexa to “set alarms, calendars, access news, traffic, [and] weather.”
The 9-inch, two-sided mirror offers ‘distortion free’ 1x and 5x magnification, making it ideal for your morning beauty routine, the company boasts.
As you apply your makeup or pluck your eyebrows, iHome’s smart mirror allows you to listen to Spotify playlists, take calls, and charge your phone. And since the mirror supports Alexa’s ’Smart Home Skills’ it can even be used to control other smart devices such as thermostats, alarm clocks, doors, and security systems.
