The Super Bowl has inspired plenty of game-day innovations over the years, but Kraft Heinz just made a play for the most practical one yet.

With millions gathering around screens for the big game, armed with chicken wings, sliders, and enough fried food to justify elastic waistbands, the condiment giant is addressing what might be the most overlooked logistical challenge of any watch party: keeping the ketchup flowing.

Enter the KegChup: a beer-style keg filled with 114 ounces of Heinz ketchup, complete with a tap dispenser. Introduced just in time to build hype for Super Bowl weekend, the container stands just under 20 inches tall and resembles a small beverage keg.

The food processing giant recently announced that the ketchup keg would be available through a limited social media sweepstakes rather than in stores.

From Tap Room to Game Room

Kegs are typically associated with beer, but Heinz is applying the format to its flagship condiment. The larger container is intended for group settings where multiple bottles are often used over the course of a game.

The KegChup was first teased on Heinz’s Instagram account last fall. The post drew close to one million views and thousands of comments from users asking whether the product would be made available.

Access to the ketchup keg was initially limited to a promotional giveaway that ran through January 29. To enter, participants were required to follow Heinz on Instagram, like the announcement post, and tag two other users in the comments.

If you missed the initial giveaway, no need to panic. Heinz plans to offer the KegChup again when the 2026 football season kicks off. Fans eager to get their hands on one can sign up for early order access at HeinzKegChup.com.

As for what’s inside? It’s the same Heinz ketchup that’s been around for more than 150 years – just dispensed from a tap instead of squeezed from a bottle. The company hasn’t announced the pricing details yet.
