A couple has filed for a temporary restraining order against Ezra Miller, after the Justice League star reportedly threatened and harassed them at their Hilo, Hawaii home, just hours after the actor was released from police custody following the latter’s arrest at a bar early Monday.
According to a court document obtained by People, the couple alleges that Miller “burst into the bedroom of the petitioner(s) and threatened” the accused male victim by “saying ‘I will bury you and your slut wife’’” on Monday.
Signed by the couple on Tuesday, the document also claims that Miller stole “the passport of [the wife] and the wallet which included SS card, driver license, bank cards, among other things of [the husband].”
The couple also points out in the document that “[Miller] is famous and wealthy; this makes access to weapons much easier, as well as sending associates to harass the petitioners.” The couple also notes that unless Miller’s “wrongful conduct is stopped or prevented by order of the court, the petitioners will suffer substantial emotional distress.”
According to Radar Online, Miller had been staying at the couple’s pad for over a week after meeting the wife at a Farmer’s Market and hitting it off. Sources told the website that the trio was enjoying their time together for days, with the husband even driving Miller around town and helping the actor with errands.
However, things went upside down when Miller was taken into police custody in the early hours of Monday after reportedly showing up at a karaoke bar and started causing a disturbance.
Ezra Miller’s Hawaii arrest
In a news release, the Hawaii Police Department (HPD) confirmed that Miller was arrested early Monday and charged for disorderly conduct and harassment over two separate incidents at a karaoke bar on Silva Street in Hilo.
HPD officers responded to the unnamed bar on Sunday at around 11:30 p.m. According to the police, Miller got “agitated” by people singing karaoke at the bar and then started to use derogatory language.
“Miller began yelling obscenities and at one point grabbed the microphone from a 23-year-old woman singing karaoke (disorderly conduct offense) and later lunged at a 32-year-old man playing darts (harassment offense),” the police said. “The bar owner asked Miller to calm down several times to no avail.”
Sources told Radar Online that the husband was the one who bailed the actor out of jail and paid the $500 bond. But hours later, back at the couple’s house, the Flash actor lost it again.
