Minecraft fans have a new reason to order pizza, and thankfully, it does not involve trying to build a functioning oven out of dirt blocks. Domino’s is teaming up with Minecraft Dungeons II for a limited-time collaboration that turns pizza night into a mini loot drop. Starting October 26, customers can get Minecraft-themed collectible boxes, exclusive in-game cosmetics and a shot at winning one of 20,000 digital copies of the game.
Domino’s is getting very literal with the square thing
The star of the promotion is the Domino, a personal-sized Detroit-style pizza with a parmesan crust that’s cut into two rectangular pieces. In the U.S., the Domino comes in one of six collectible Minecraft Dungeons II boxes, featuring characters and mobs including the Creeper, Corrupted Creeper, Zombie, Pig, Valorie and Prime Enchanter.
The boxes are available from October 26 through January 10, 2027, or while supplies last. There is just one catch for collectors: they don’t get to choose which box they receive. So, completing the six-box set might require either several pizza nights or some very strategic trading with your fellow Minecraft nerds.
Your pizza can unlock Minecraft loot
The boxes are not the only reason to care. Domino’s Rewards members who order a qualifying Domino online can unlock one of three exclusive cosmetic items for Minecraft Dungeons II, including Domino’s Skin, Slice Slayer Cape and Cheesy Cube Pet.
The rewards are randomly assigned, so you do not get to simply order a pizza and demand the Cheesy Cube. You can, however, swap codes with friends if you’re trying to complete the set. Also, keep in mind that these are cosmetics and they don’t give players any gameplay advantage.
Domino’s is also giving its Domino’s Tracker a Minecraft Dungeons II-themed makeover, although it has not revealed all the details yet.
Domino’s is giving away 20,000 copies of the game
From October 26 through November 4, Domino’s will give away 2,000 digital copies of Minecraft Dungeons II every day, adding up to 20,000 copies. The U.S. giveaway is open to eligible customers who purchase a qualifying Domino and submit proof of purchase through Domino’s promotion page.
The copies are for the PC and Xbox versions of Minecraft Dungeons II Standard Edition, and each is valued at $29.99.
Of course, buying a pizza doesn’t magically put a game code in your inbox. You’re entering for a chance to win, not receiving a guaranteed copy. So if you were already hungry, this is a fun bonus. If you’re ordering a pizza purely to chase a $29.99 game code, the math gets considerably less delicious.
Not just a U.S. pizza party
The Minecraft Dungeons II collaboration is rolling out across 19 international markets, including Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Germany, France, Brazil, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Spain, Taiwan and Turkey.
The exact deals vary by country, though. Some markets will have their own qualifying pizzas, meal bundles or sides, while the packaging could come as collectible boxes, sleeves, toppers, or printed code cards. China gets its own version of the promotion, featuring five limited-time pizzas and five collectible boxes inspired by MyWorld mobs including the Creeper, Pig, Villager, Zombie and Bee.
If you live outside of the U.S., Domino’s menu isn’t necessarily going to look exactly like the American one. But that’s probably for the best. Minecraft has taught us that there are many ways to build a block, and several ways to turn one into pizza.
