Cricket Wireless is celebrating having 12.4 million subscribers by removing speed caps and adding 5G to all of its plans.

Over the past 2 years, Cricket says that it’s garnered more than 2 million new subscribers, solidifying its claim of being the fastest prepaid carrier in the US since 2019.

Currently, the carrier supports more than 19 million total prepaid subscribers. The company is celebrating this milestone by removing the current 8Mbps seed cap on its $30/month, $40/month, and $55/month plans. Additionally, 5G is now accessible to all existing customers on current rate plans.

Cricket will also continue to provide additional benefits to its customers including a free one-year membership to Sam’s Club, a free subscription to Bark Jr Parental Controls app, access to an ad-supported tier of HBO Max, and investment bonuses on Acorns.
