Coca-Cola has just unveiled three exciting new soda flavors, but here’s the twist: these unique concoctions will be available only at the highly anticipated Universal Epic Universe, which is set to open at Universal Orlando Resort on May 22nd. More than mere refreshments, these new sodas are crafted as immersive taste experiences, designed to perfectly complement the thrill and fantasy of the theme park’s bold new worlds. Read on to discover more about these intriguing beverages and where you can find them in the soon-to-open park.
Exclusive Coca-Cola Creations Hit Freestyle Machines at Universal Epic Universe
Coca-Cola Freestyle machines are more than just soda dispensers—they’re customizable drink experiences offering a flavor adventure you won’t find anywhere else. With hundreds of combinations available, these machines feature an impressive range of options from across the Coca-Cola portfolio, including an array of Sprite varieties and rare Diet Coke flavors that are nearly impossible to find in stores.
From time to time, Coca-Cola launches limited-edition blends exclusive to Freestyle machines—think Olympics-inspired drinks or tropical seasonal specials. Guests at Universal Orlando Resort can dive into that same exclusive refreshment experience throughout the parks, water parks, and hotels, thanks to the widespread presence of Freestyle machines.
The brand-new Universal Epic Universe takes this to the next level. Every themed land within the park offers Freestyle machines tucked into select quick-service locations, but these aren’t your typical dispensers. Each one is custom-designed to seamlessly match the look and feel of its surroundings, making them part of the immersive environment.
Three of the park’s lands offer more than just themed machines—they feature their own signature sodas. Universal Orlando told Allrecipes that these bespoke flavors were developed through a collaboration between Universal’s culinary team and Coca-Cola, with each one inspired by the unique setting and story of its respective land. Below are the three themed sodas and where you can find them.
Celestial Spritz
Over in Celestial Park, guests can try the Celestial Spritz—a refreshing blend of Seagram’s enhanced with cherry and orange flavors, plus a mysterious twist. According to Universal Orlando, there’s also a secret “added tartness” mixed in. Fair warning: that tartness packs a serious punch. One fan who received exclusive access to the theme park drew a bold comparison to a notorious Coca-Cola flavor, commenting on TikTok, “Celestial Spritz gave Beverly vibes honestly.”
Dragon Splash
In the How to Train Your Dragon-inspired land called the Isle of Berk, guests can quench their thirst with Dragon Splash—a zesty, citrus-forward mix made with Minute Maid Lime, Fanta Lime, and Mello Yello.
Screaming Berry
In Dark Universe, the land inspired by Universal’s classic monster movies, Freestyle machines serve up Screaming Berry—a flavor that’s turning heads among Dr Pepper fans in the best way. This proprietary soda blends Fanta Cherry and Fanta Fruit Punch with added grape and vanilla notes. Guests who attended semi-secret preview days of the park have sampled the new drink, with many noting its striking resemblance to Dr Pepper Blackberry.

Do these new flavors have zero-sugar options?
Each of the three new soda flavors comes with a zero-sugar option available on every Freestyle machine. And yes, you can do exactly what we’re all thinking: mix these flavors with others in the machine.
“…Guests can select a specialty flavor and go back to the main screen to select another flavor to mix,” said a Universal Orlando representative.
