The Karate Kid: Cobra Kai YouTube Red original series is less than a month away, and if the trailer wasn’t enough to satiate you, here are some teasers that will help tide you over until May 2nd.
For some reference, the new series takes place over 30 years after the original Karate Kid film. But this time Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) is the villain and his old arch nemesis, Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka) is the hero.
One teaser focuses on Daniel LaRusso starring in a tacky commercial for his car dealership where he’s still playing up his Karate prowess after all of these years. Another teaser showcases Johnny Lawrence distaste for Daniel, and another shows Daniel reeling in shock from seeing that the Cobra Kai den has been reopened.
We wonder what Mr. Miyagi would say if he saw Daniel-son’s behavior nowadays? He’d likely not approve. `
