Burger King is spicing things up with the introduction of a new spicy Whopper. But that’s not all! This latest version of Whopper is actually part of the fast-food chain’s new lineup of spicy offerings that will put your taste buds to the test. So, if you crave a culinary adventure that will leave you both satisfied and sweating, then keep reading to discover Burger King’s all-new Fiery Menu.
Burger King’s Fiery Menu
The Fiery Menu will be available at participating Burger King locations nationwide for a limited time starting July 18th. It offers five all-new menu items with spice levels ranging from mild to wild:
- Fiery Strawberry & Sprite (Spice Level 1): A first of its kind at Burger King, this beverage takes Sprite to a whole new level by adding a fiery strawberry puree, creating a refreshing sip with just enough kick to leave you thirsty more.
- Fiery Mozzarella Fries (Spice Level 2): Filled with melty mozzarella cheese and peppers, these fry-shaped mozzarella sticks are fried until crispy. Their flavor is kicked up a notch by their Fiery Calabrian pepper breading, achieving the ultimate taste and heat. They are available in four, eight, and 12 pieces.
- Fiery Bacon Whopper (Spice Level 3): The new spicy Whopper we mentioned above is called the Fiery Bacon Whopper. It features 1/4 lb flame-grilled beef with crispy Fiery-seasoned bacon, pepper jack cheese, juicy tomatoes, crispy lettuce and a creamy Fiery sauce – all on a toasted sesame seed bun.
- Fiery Chicken Fries (Spice Level 4): Marinated with a Fiery seasoning and coated in savory garlic and pepper breading, these crispy white meat chicken fries are available in four, eight, and 12 pieces.
- Fiery Bacon Royal Crispy Chicken Sandwich (Spice Level 5): This chicken sandwich features a crispy white meat breast filet coated with a Fiery glaze and topped with crispy Fiery-seasoned bacon, pepper jack cheese, juicy tomatoes, crispy lettuce and creamy Fiery sauce – all on a toasted bun.
“We know that our guests crave spice packed full of flavor when they come to BK, but spice looks different for everybody,” Pat O’Toole, Chief Marketing Officer of Burger King North America, said in a press release announcing the Fiery Menu. “As a brand that is built on letting Guests ‘Have It Your Way’, we’re excited to offer a range of products that appeal to everyone – from those who want just a little kick to those who can’t get enough heat.”
Burger King’s Hidden Valley Ranch Dip Cup
Making its debut alongside the Fiery Menu is Burger King’s Hidden Valley Ranch Dip, which are included with orders of the new Fiery Mozzarella Fries and Fiery Chicken Fries. But unlike the Fiery Menu items, the dip is not a limited-time offering and can be added to any order whether Fiery or simply flame-grilled.
This isn’t the first time Burger King has added spicy items to its menu. Below are some of the chain’s most beloved spicy offerings.
Ghost Pepper Whopper
First made available for a limited time in 2019, Burger King’s Ghost Pepper Whopper was a fiery burger that included a flame-grilled beef patty topped with ghost pepper cheese, spicy mayo, crispy jalapenos, and onions. It was known for being extremely spicy, even for those who enjoy hot food.
Fiery Nuggets
Burger King’s Fiery Nuggets were crispy chicken nuggets coated in a spicy glaze made from cayenne peppers, bird’s eye chili, and black pepper. They were first offered from June 19, 2023 to August 17, 2023.
Spicy Chicken Fries
Spicy Chicken Fries were a variation on Burger King’s classic Chicken Fries, featuring a spicy breading with cayenne pepper, black pepper, and other spices. These were a limited-time offering available from March 6, 2023, to May 14, 2023.
