Beats is stepping into a new category with the launch of its first-ever collection of charging cables. The aptly named “Beats Cables” brings the brand’s signature style and quality to an essential accessory that most of us use daily but rarely get excited about.

We’ve all been there—reaching for our charging cable only to find it frayed, tangled, or simply not working. Beats seems to understand this frustration and has designed its new cables with durability in mind. The collection features a tangle-free woven design that has engineered to prevent fraying, even after extensive use.

What further sets these cables apart from the competition is the fun, vibrant color palette that Beats is known for. Available in four colors — Bolt Black, Surge Stone, Nitro Navy, and Rapid Red — these cables are definitely not boring. The bold colors will help your cable stand out in a drawer full of accessories or add a pop of color to your desk setup.

Beats has clearly thought about compatibility across the Apple and Android ecosystems. The new collection includes USB-C to USB-C, USB-A to USB-C, and USB-C to Lightning configurations, covering virtually every modern device – charging need.

These new cables are also powerful. The USB-C to USB-C cables support fast charging up to an impressive 60 watts when paired with compatible hardware, while the USB-A to USB-C option delivers up to 15 watts for select iPhone and iPad models.

For those who need flexibility, the cables come in two lengths: a standard 1.5-meter (4 feet, 11 inches) option that’s great for everyday use, and a compact 20-centimeter (7.87 inches) version that’s ideal for travel or using with portable power banks.

Beyond charging, the cables support data transfer at USB 2.0 rates, and they’re compatible with CarPlay, audio streaming, and even lossless audio playback when used with compatible Beats headphones and speakers.

Availability and Pricing

The Beats Cables are available to order starting today, April 15, at Apple.com, with prices starting at $18.99 for individual cables (both 1.5m and 20cm versions). For those who need multiple cables, two-packs of the 1.5-meter USB-C to USB-C and USB-A to USB-C cables are available for $34.99. However, the Rapid Red color in USB-A to USB-C and USB-C to Lightning won’t be available until this summer.
