When AT&T launched Build-A-Plan earlier this year, the focus was on giving customers more flexibility over their wireless service. Starting at $15 per month, the plan lets you add or remove features as your needs change, so you don’t pay for services you don’t use.
Now, the carrier is taking the concept a step further by allowing you to add home internet as you build your wireless plan. Beginning July 7, eligible customers can bundle either AT&T Fiber or Internet Air directly into Build-A-Plan, streamlining the setup process.
AT&T’s Single Point for Wireless and Home Internet
Rather than signing up for wireless first and home internet later, this expansion lets you configure both services within a single experience. If AT&T Fiber is available in your area, you’ll be able to add the company’s high-speed fiber service during checkout.
For locations without fiber coverage, customers can instead choose AT&T Internet Air, the carrier’s wireless home internet service. The goal is to make getting connected at home and on the go feel like a single seamless process rather than two separate purchases.
A Bigger Push Toward Simplicity
This expansion is part of the company’s ongoing strategy to simplify its wireless offerings. Over the past few months, the company has introduced Build-A-Plan, launched OneConnect for bundled services, and refreshed several of its wireless plans to provide more flexibility and clearer pricing.
Adding home internet to Build-A-Plan continues that approach by reducing friction and giving you more control over how you combine services. For anyone considering a new wireless provider or planning to bundle internet service, the updated Build-A-Plan could make the service provider’s flexible approach even more appealing when it rolls out on July 7.
