Samsung’s premium Micro RGB TV just got a lot more affordable, and Woot is offering an even better deal than Samsung. The 85-inch Samsung R85H Micro RGB TV is now $2,498 at Woot, down from $4,000, saving you a massive $1,502.
That’s also $302 cheaper than Samsung’s own website, where the TV is currently listed for $2,800. For a TV packed with Samsung’s latest display technology, this is a pretty sweet deal.
Why Choose the Samsung R85H Micro RGB TV?
Unlike conventional LED TVs, which typically use white or blue LED backlights, this model uses micro RGB technology to produce a wider range of colors. This results in more lifelike colors across everything from nature documentaries to blockbuster movies.
Additionally, the microscopic RGB lights reduce color bleed, letting the TV display more precise shades without colors spilling into surrounding areas. In simple terms, you get richer reds, more vibrant greens, and deeper blues. On an 85-inch screen, that extra color detail can make a big difference when you’re watching visually rich content.
The TV can upscale lower-resolution content to near-4K clarity, making older movies, cable TV, and streaming videos look sharper on the large display. And thanks to its advanced HDR processing, you get more detail in both bright and dark scenes.
For gamers, the Samsung R85H offers a 144Hz refresh rate with Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) technology. You’ll enjoy minimal screen tearing and stuttering when you connect to compatible gaming hardware.
The TV also includes adaptive sync technology to help keep gameplay responsive and visually consistent as frame rates change. Combined with HDR support, it can deliver detailed, colorful game worlds while helping maintain smooth motion during intense action.
On the audio side, the R85H supports Dolby Atmos with a virtual top channel, creating a more spacious listening experience. Its object-tracking audio technology makes sounds follow the action on screen, so a passing car or moving object feels more connected to what you’re watching.
Another interesting feature is the AI Sound Controller, which lets you adjust voices, music, and sound effects separately. For example, you can make dialogue easier to hear during a movie or reduce distracting commentary while watching sports. It’s a useful addition for anyone who’s tired of constantly adjusting the volume between quiet conversations and loud action scenes.
The Samsung R85H Micro RGB TV offers an appealing combination of cutting-edge color technology, a massive 85-inch display, and gaming-friendly features. At $302 below Samsung’s current price, it’s a great opportunity to upgrade your living room with a premium big-screen TV while keeping more money in your pocket.
