AT&T is officially stepping into the wellness game, giving eligible wireless and fiber customers free access to virtual healthcare. The phone carrier is doing this through an exclusive partnership with LifeMD. AT&T is waiving the monthly fee for a virtual care membership, handing subscribers a juicy perk worth $228 a year.
What do you actually get?
Instead of paying LifeMD’s standard $19-per-month subscription fee, AT&T customers get that recurring cost knocked down to $0. Available through AT&T’s &More program, the complimentary membership unlocks on-demand access to a nationwide digital telehealth and pharmacy platform directly from your phone.
Through the LifeMD platform, members can connect with state-licensed providers for everyday health needs:
- Primary and urgent care: Get quick consultations for common illnesses without sitting in a crowded waiting room.
- Prescriptions on demand: Providers can issue prescriptions and arrange to have many medications shipped straight to your door via LifeMD’s pharmacy.
- Everyday wellness: Convenient access to medical guidance whenever and wherever you need it.

Important to note
While the $19-per-month membership is completely waived, keep in mind that you’ll still cover the individual cost for any actual doctor visits, prescriptions or specific medical services you use. The starting price for virtual urgent and primary care is around $49, and for specialty care, you will have to fork out $79.
Why the sudden pivot to virtual medicine?
The move comes as telehealth shifts from a temporary pandemic workaround into a permanent lifestyle staple. Recent survey data shows that 82% of patients say telemedicine helps them stay on track with their health, while 78% agree it makes receiving care far easier. Additionally, a report from Strata Decision Technology noted a massive 79% jump in U.S. telehealth encounters between 2019 and 2026.

Rollout dates and availability
This new perk isn’t dropping everywhere all at once. The initial launch phase reaches roughly 29 million AT&T customers across 11 states. If you aren’t in the first rollout wave, don’t worry. AT&T plans to scale the offer nationwide by January 2027, bringing the complimentary benefit to more than 100 million eligible subscribers.
