Apple packed more than music upgrades into its latest Pro earbuds. The AirPods Pro 3 can track your heart rate during workouts, help translate conversations, and block out more unwanted noise than their predecessor. And Target has dropped them from $250 to $190, giving you $60 off one of Apple’s most feature-packed pairs of earbuds.

Besides the health feature, these earbuds offer up to eight hours of listening with Active Noise Cancellation enabled. You also get five ear tip sizes for a more secure fit, and they work closely with the iPhone for workouts, hearing health features, and seamless switching between Apple devices.

Why Choose the Apple AirPods Pro 3?

One feature I love about the new AirPods is the upgraded Active Noise Cancellation. Apple says they can reduce up to twice as much unwanted noise as the AirPods Pro 2. While I take Apple’s marketing speak with a pinch of salt, the ANC here is really great; at just about 50 to 60% volume, these earbuds can already block out unwanted noise.

You also get stronger bass and clearer details thanks to the redesigned audio system, which now features a new acoustic architecture. Plus, the redesigned ear tips make the buds more comfortable while providing a secure seal.

The AirPods Pro 3 also venture into fitness tracker territory with built-in heart rate sensing. When paired with an iPhone, these earbuds can track your heart rate and calories burned across up to 50 workout types. You can also access information such as your Move ring and step count, making the earbuds particularly useful when you don’t want to wear a smartwatch during a workout.

Battery life has improved as well, as the AirPods Pro 3 can deliver up to eight hours of listening with ANC enabled, compared to the six hours on their predecessor. You can get up to 10 hours in Transparency mode when using the Hearing Aid feature.

At $190, the AirPods Pro 3 are $60 cheaper than their regular $250 price. The improved noise cancellation and audio performance are already compelling upgrades, but heart rate sensing, longer battery life, and hearing health tools give these earbuds plenty to offer beyond music. If you’ve been waiting for a discount before upgrading your AirPods, Target’s price makes them easier to consider.
