Cracking open a cold soda on a hot day is great, but taking that fizzy goodness into your morning shower? That’s a whole new level.
The beverage giant is making a surprise jump into the beauty aisle by teaming up with indie cosmetics brand Glamlite. Together, they are dropping a limited-edition body care lineup designed to turn your daily shower into a sweet-smelling soda fountain experience.
What’s in the collection?
Rather than trying to translate standard blue Pepsi into a soap formula, the partnership zeroes in on two fan-favorite flavor variants. The lineup features two distinct products priced at $12 each:
- Pepsi Vanilla Slushie Body Scrub: A foaming sugar scrub packed with mineral exfoliants and hydrating glycerin to buff away dead skin.
- Pepsi Wild Cherry Body Wash: A refreshing body cleanser infused with skin-nourishing niacinamide, moisturizing shea butter, and a fruit alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) complex.

Alongside the body wash line, Pepsi and Glamlite are also releasing two themed lip kits for $25 each, wrapped in packaging designed to look like classic Pepsi cans and bottles:
- Pepsi Vanilla Lip Kit: A 3-piece set including a lip liner, lipstick, and high-shine gloss designed for easy layering and curated specifically to flatter fair-to-medium skin tones. The product features an authentic Pepsi Vanilla aroma, and the formula is enriched with Vitamin E to deeply hydrate, nourish, and soften lips.
- Pepsi Wild Cherry Lip Kit: Infused with an authentic Wild Cherry scent, this 3-piece kit features a lip liner, lipstick, and gloss enriched with Vitamin E to nourish your lips. Designed specifically to complement medium-to-deep skin tones, the set even comes with a custom collector’s keychain.

Years in the making
While food-and-beauty crossovers often feel like rushed marketing gimmicks, Glamlite founder Giselle Hernandez revealed on Instagram that this project is something she has been “dreaming about for years.”
Hernandez spent those years working alongside chemists, testing more than 300 product samples and evaluating roughly 3,000 scent variations from international fragrance houses before settling on the final scent profiles.
“I tested more than 300 samples before choosing the final collection. Then came the scents,” Hernandez wrote on Instagram.
Eventually, Pepsi approached Glamlite to officially bring the sweet-smelling dream to life.
How to get your hands on the products
All collections officially drop with early access starting on July 31 at 11:00 AM PST, sold exclusively through Glamlite’s official TikTok Shop storefront before expanding to broader availability.
More products to come
And if you’re a fan of food-themed beauty drops, you might want to keep your eyes peeled—Glamlite has already teased that a full Pepsi-inspired makeup line is currently in the works.
“Of course, we couldn’t create a Pepsi collection without makeup. The color cosmetics are just as exciting, and I seriously cannot wait to reveal everything we’ve been creating,” Hernandez said.
The divide: believers vs. skeptics
Unsurprisingly, the news on Instagram received mixed reactions.
There are the believers who can’t wait to get their hands on the new beauty products. One commenter wrote, “Well clearly I need to be smelling like a giant walking Pepsi can right now.” Another added, “Not quite what I expected, but I’m intrigued.” One other user wrote “You rock sweetie! I never thought I’d want to smell like soda but I changed my mind.”
And there are the skeptics who aren’t so sure about bringing soda shop scents into the shower. “Who decided we needed to smell like Pepsi?” Another user wrote: “No way it’s pepsi, are you kidding me?” One user joked about the potential of having fruit flies buzzing all over them after using the product, while another called it a “hard pass.”
Whether you think smelling like Wild Cherry is a dream come true or a recipe for attracting fruit flies, the debate alone is keeping the collaboration trending across beauty feeds.
