AI is quickly finding its way into everything we use, and now Meta wants it sitting on your face. The company has officially unveiled Meta Glasses, a new lineup of AI-powered smart glasses that starts at $299.

Built in partnership with EssilorLuxottica, the glasses are designed to look and feel like everyday eyewear while giving you access to a hands-free AI assistant throughout the day. And yes, there’s even a Kylie Jenner edition.

One of the biggest highlights of the new lineup is a special design created with Kylie Jenner. Called Meta Glasses by Kylie, the model features a slim oval frame inspired by Jenner’s personal style and starts at $399. It joins two other launch styles: the rectangular Meta Adventurer and the bolder Meta Fury, both of which start at $299.

Meta says the collection includes 26 frame-and-lens combinations at launch, giving you plenty of ways to personalize your look. Prescription lenses are also supported, making the glasses practical for everyday wear.

The AI Is the Main Attraction

While the new styles help the glasses blend in with everyday fashion, Meta is clearly betting on AI to sell the experience. Using Meta AI, you can ask questions about what you’re looking at, get recommendations, manage schedules, translate conversations, and handle everyday tasks without pulling out a phone. The idea is simple: instead of reaching for your smartphone every time you need information, you can ask your glasses.

More Than Just an AI Gadget

The glasses also come packed with practical features for daily use. They feature open-ear speakers that let you listen to audio content and calls while still hearing what’s happening around you.

There’s also a built-in camera for hands-free photos and videos, along with a new Dynamic Photo feature that captures multiple shots and helps you pick the best one. Battery life is rated at more than eight hours on a charge, while the included charging case provides up to 40 additional hours of power.

Meta Says More Features Are Coming Soon

According to Meta, the glasses will continue to gain new capabilities through software updates. Upcoming features include hands-free walking directions and support for 14 additional languages in Live Translation, making the glasses more useful for travel and everyday navigation.

Starting at $299, the new Meta Glasses are among the company’s most affordable smart glasses yet. By combining AI, audio, photography, and everyday eyewear into a single device, Meta is making its biggest push so far to turn smart glasses into something people actually wear every day.

Whether consumers are ready for that future remains to be seen, but Meta is clearly betting that the next AI device won’t be in your pocket. It’ll be on your face.
