AT&T is rolling out a new deal for Apple’s latest budget-friendly smartphone. The carrier has opened preorders for the new iPhone 17e, giving customers a chance to grab the device for as little as $5.99 per month with any unlimited plan. Preorders are live now with full availability starting March 11.

The iPhone 17e might be Apple’s newest entry-level option, but it still packs several premium features. From the latest A19 chip to a 48MP camera and MagSafe support, the phone delivers strong performance and modern capabilities without the typical flagship price tag.

AT&T’s iPhone 17e Deal Explained

AT&T’s main offer is straightforward. New and existing customers can preorder the iPhone 17e for $5.99 per month with any unlimited plan. According to the carrier, this represents more than 60 percent savings compared to buying the phone with capped data plans.

Business customers can get the iPhone 17e for $0.99 with a two or three-year service commitment, or choose a $1.99-per-month installment plan over 36 months. These offers are designed to help businesses equip employees with modern devices while keeping costs low.

What the iPhone 17e Brings to the Table

The iPhone 17e may be Apple’s more affordable model, but it still comes with solid hardware. At the heart of the device is the new A19 chip, which powers everyday tasks like apps, gaming, and photography with improved speed and efficiency.

Apple also introduced its new C1X cellular modem, which is up to twice as fast as the previous generation modem used in the iPhone 16e. Photography is handled by a 48MP Fusion camera that supports next-generation portrait shots and 4K Dolby Vision video recording. It also includes an optical-quality 2x telephoto option, giving users more flexibility when capturing photos.

A Durable Display and More Storage

The iPhone 17e features a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR display protected by Ceramic Shield 2. Apple says the updated material offers three times better scratch resistance than the previous generation while reducing glare for better visibility.

MagSafe also returns, enabling faster wireless charging and compatibility with Apple’s ecosystem of accessories, such as cases, chargers, and mounts. And to make things better, the iPhone 17e now starts at 256GB, which is double the entry-level storage offered by the previous generation while keeping the same $599 starting price.

Satellite Features and Availability

Like other modern iPhones, the 17e supports Apple’s satellite connectivity features. That includes Emergency SOS, Roadside Assistance, Messages, and Find My via satellite, helping users stay connected when they’re outside cellular or Wi-Fi coverage.

The device will be available in three matte-finish colors: black, white, and a new soft pink option. Preorders for the iPhone 17e are now available through AT&T, with the device officially launching on March 11. For customers looking for a more affordable iPhone upgrade, the carrier’s $5.99-per-month offer could make Apple’s newest budget model even more appealing.
