The pilot program is currently underway at Wellstar MCG Health in Augusta, Georgia, conveniently located near the hospital’s “F Entrance” on Harper Street. If the trial proves successful, Chick-fil-A could roll out these automated fridges to more locations across the state and eventually throughout the U.S.
What fans can buy from Chick-fil-A’s vending machine
Inside the sleek, refrigerated unit, customers can grab a selection of freshly prepared favorites, including the Chick-fil-A Cool Wrap with Avocado Lime Ranch ($8.49) and the Southwest Veggie Wrap with Creamy Salsa ($7.99). Each wrap comes neatly sealed and boxed with a napkin for easy, on-the-go dining.
Two varieties of the chain’s beloved Waffle Potato Chips are also included on the menu: the Original Waffle Potato Chips ($2.19) and the Chick-fil-A Sauce Flavored Waffle Potato Chips ($2.19).
Since this vending machine is still in its pilot phase, the limited selection makes sense. But if the concept takes off, fans could soon see more menu options added to the lineup.
