A boxed mac & cheese brand sold in major retailers across the U.S. is being pulled from shelves after undeclared ingredients triggered allergic reactions. Gooder Foods Inc. said that two of its Goodles products, Vegan Is Believin’ and Here Comes Truffle, are part of the recall.
The FDA announced the move after reports showed the vegan-labeled flavor contained milk, and the truffle flavor may have had cashews. Both ingredients were missing from the labels.
The contamination came to light after customers reported experiencing allergic reactions to the company’s products. So far, two reactions have been linked to the Vegan Is Believin’ boxes, and six to the Here Comes Truffle version. The company warned that anyone allergic to milk or cashews faces the risk of severe or even life-threatening illness if they eat the affected meals.
The impacted lots were produced between April 7 and April 15, 2025, and were sold nationwide through retail stores and online platforms from April 29 to August 5.
