Verizon just launched an internet plan designed to bring reliable, low-cost connectivity to more communities across the U.S. The new Home Internet Lite plan starts at just $25 per month for a limited time. It is aimed at customers with lighter internet needs, particularly those in areas that have historically lacked access to high-speed broadband.

Customers who qualify for this plan get a three-year price guarantee, locking in the $25 monthly rate for three years. With this guarantee, Verizon estimates that users can save over $40 per month compared to traditional satellite pricing.

Easy Setup and 5G-Powered Reliability

This new plan expands the company’s national reach beyond its Fios and 5G Home Internet footprint. It offers a dependable solution for households that have relied on older DSL or satellite connections. With download speeds up to 25 Mbps (typically 10–25 Mbps), it’s ideal for browsing, sending emails, streaming shows, and staying connected, all without breaking the bank.

The plan operates on the company’s 5G network, giving customers the peace of mind that comes with Verizon’s award-winning performance. After 150 GB of monthly data usage, speeds are reduced up to 10 Mbps, but users stay connected with unlimited data for the rest of the billing cycle.

Setup is straightforward thanks to a free router included with every plan. This makes it an easy, plug-and-play option for new users who want to get online without scheduling technician visits or complicated installations.

Verizon is Expanding Access, One Community at a Time

Users who qualify for Verizon Forward, the company’s affordability program, can access even better savings, with eligible plans starting as low as $20 per month. Those participating in federal assistance programs such as SNAP may qualify, while New York residents can also benefit from state-based discounts through the New York Affordable Broadband Act.

Verizon says Home Internet Lite is part of its broader mission to bridge the digital divide and bring dependable internet to underserved regions. “No matter where you are or what your internet needs may be, we’ve got you with a plan that fits your life and your budget,” the company said in its announcement.

The new Home Internet Lite plan is available nationwide starting today. Customers can check eligibility or sign up directly via Verizon’s website or the My Verizon app.
