Verizon Value is making international connectivity more accessible for prepaid customers with an upgrade to Total Wireless and Simple Mobile plans. Starting August 28, both brands will introduce new international features designed to meet growing demand from U.S. travelers heading abroad, especially to Asia-Pacific destinations where travel has surged beyond pre-pandemic levels.
The move signals a new chapter for Verizon’s prepaid portfolio, allowing customers to call, text, and roam in more countries without relying on expensive calling cards or complicated setups. Whether you’re staying in touch with family overseas or traveling for business, these new plans promise better global access at prepaid pricing.
Total Wireless Doubles Down on International Features and 5G+
Total Wireless is getting a major international boost. Its newly enhanced 5G and 5G+ unlimited plans will now include international roaming in over 30 countries, expanded calling to up to 180 countries, and texting to more than 200 destinations. These features will be included on all new and existing plans starting August 28, with pricing guaranteed for five years, including taxes and fees.
At $40 per month, the base plan offers roaming in Canada and Mexico, along with a 5GB hotspot and calling to 85+ countries. Higher-tier plans offer more perks, including Disney+ streaming, more hotspot data, and even $10 in international calling credits.
Simple Mobile Now Offers Unlimited World Plans With Roaming
Simple Mobile’s revamped lineup includes high-speed data and unlimited global texting across all plans. For just $25 a month, customers get 15GB of data and international calling to over 100 countries. Moving up the ladder, the $30 and $40 plans increase data limits and expand calling to 125+ countries.
The standout additions are the $50 Unlimited World Plan, which includes unlimited data and calling to over 200 countries, and the $60 Unlimited World+ Plan, which adds Verizon’s premium 5G Ultra Wideband access along with international roaming in more than 140 countries.
With this launch, Verizon Value demonstrates the strength of its prepaid brand portfolio. Simple Mobile continues to cater to customers seeking simple, affordable international plans, while Total Wireless offers more comprehensive, unlimited features for power users and travelers alike.
