After years of requests from customers, Snapple has brought back its classic glass bottles – the ones with the metal lids and those quirky “Real Facts” printed underneath. The nostalgic limited-edition return quietly hit shelves on October 15, sending longtime Snapple drinkers into a minor frenzy.

The lineup includes the brand’s heavy hitters: Snapple Apple, Kiwi Strawberry, Peach Tea, Zero Sugar Peach Tea, and Lemon Tea, all back in their original glass form. For anyone who grew up hearing that signature pop before taking a sip, this is a full-circle moment.

But here’s the catch: you can only find them in New York, at select retailers and bodegas. Everywhere else? You’ll have to stick with the plastic bottles that Snapple introduced back in 2020. It stemmed from a change meant to make the brand more sustainable but one that fans never fully embraced.

The glass comeback seems to be Snapple’s nod to nostalgia. When the company announced the drop on Instagram, the comment section lit up like it was 2005. One fan wrote, “I’ve been collecting Snapple caps since I was nine!!! I need the OG caps for my Snapple board.” Another said, “Please make them permanent! The peach tastes better in glass.”

This is the kind of limited drop that feels like it was designed for social media, offering a mix of retro charm and exclusivity. But for many, it’s more personal. Snapple wasn’t just a drink; it was part of their childhood while growing up. The sound of the cap. The weight of the glass bottle. The weird facts you’d quiz your friends with after finishing it.

Naturaly, fans outside New York are already calling foul and are demanding the glass bottles be released everywhere.

For now, the bottles are $3.99 each and only available “while supplies last.” Translation: not long.

So if you happen to be located in New York, you might want to grab one before they disappear again. Unfortunately, the rest of the country will just have to wait, or keep hoping Snapple decides nostalgia deserves a second run everywhere.
