Selena Gomez Oreos Hit Stores June 9th Nationwide

The collaboration taps into Gomez’s love of horchata, bringing a cinnamon-sugar twist to Oreos

Selena Gomez is taking her sweet tooth mainstream—this time, with a little help from Oreo.

The global pop star and actress has teamed up with the iconic cookie brand to release a brand-new flavor: Limited Edition Selena Gomez Oreo Cookies. The collaboration taps into Gomez’s love of horchata, bringing a cinnamon-sugar twist to the classic snack.

Each cookie features two chocolate cinnamon wafers sandwiching a dual-layered creme: one chocolate and cinnamon flavored, the other sweetened condensed milk with cinnamon sugar inclusions. It’s a blend, Gomez says evokes comforting, nostalgic flavors from her childhood.

“Making my own OREO cookie was a lot of fun,” she said in a statement. “I wanted to find a way for it to feel comforting and have a bit of nostalgia from my childhood. The cinnamon flavor gives it this horchata feel.”

Fans will find six unique cookie embossments designed by Gomez, including one that says “Selenators.” There’s even a golden ticket-style surprise: one out of every three packs includes a cookie stamped with her signature, marking the first time Oreo has featured a celebrity autograph on a cookie.

The cookies go up for presale in the U.S. on June 2 at Oreo.com/UnwrapTheCollab, with nationwide retail availability starting June 9. International fans in Canada and Brazil will also see them hit shelves on June 9, with Australia and New Zealand following on June 17.

The release is part of Oreo’s push to stay culturally connected through music and fandom, and follows on the heals of Oreo’s successful Post Malone Oreos. And with Gomez’s massive following and personal touch, this latest flavor is likely to fly off shelves fast.
