Red Lobster has been busy reinventing itself after filing for bankruptcy last year, and part of that endeavor is diving headfirst into summer with a menu refresh that’s all about one crustacean: crab.
The annual Crabfest celebration is back, and this time the chain isn’t holding back. Ten new items just hit the menu, from customizable seafood boils to luxe cocktails and indulgent new mains.
Leading the lineup is a new twist on the classic “choose your crab” dish. Diners can now customize their meal with a new seasoning: Old Bay & Parmesan. It’s salty, it’s savory, and it gives traditional garlic butter a run for its money.
But the real stars are the two new seafood boils. The Mariner’s Boil is a powerhouse plate featuring snow crab legs, shrimp, and a Maine lobster tail, all served with seasoned corn and potatoes. Meanwhile, the Sailor’s Boil offers a simpler take with shrimp and smoked sausage but brings just as much bold flavor. Both can be tailored to taste with a choice of Roasted Garlic Butter, Cajun Butter, or Old Bay.
Not in the mood for a boil? No problem. Surf and turf fans can now dig into Steak Oscar, a grilled sirloin topped with buttery lump crab and cream sauce. Prefer seafood on seafood? Go for the Salmon Oscar—same decadent topping, but on flaky Atlantic salmon.
Rounding out the menu are two crab-loaded sides: Crab-Topped Asparagus and Crab-Topped Potato, both of which are perfect for anyone who subscribes to a “more is more” philosophy when it comes to crab. Even appetizers got the crab treatment, with new Crabby Stuffed Mushrooms that pack savory flavor into every bite.
And because no summer menu is complete without drinks, Red Lobster is also rolling out three new cocktails designed to cool things down while turning things up. Whether it’s the tropical sweetness of the Starry Eyed Surprise, the colorful punch of Purple Haze, or the sparkling finish of the Passion Star Spritz, these drinks are made to complement every crab-stuffed plate.
All ten items are available now, so if you’ve been craving a reason to crack some shells and sip something summery, Red Lobster just gave you ten.
