Streaming subscriptions tend to pile up, and Amazon is trying to make five of them easier to manage. Prime Video has launched a new $30-per-month bundle that combines AMC+, BritBox, MGM+, PBS Masterpiece, and Starz into one subscription.
This gives you access to a pretty wide mix of movies and TV shows without paying for each service separately, plus it’s 39% less than subscribing to all five services individually. It’s also the first Prime Video bundle to combine five streaming services, expanding Amazon’s push to make Prime Video a central place for managing entertainment subscriptions instead of jumping between different apps and bills.
Five Streaming Services for $30 a Month
The biggest draw here is straightforward: one subscription gets you access to five separate streaming services.
AMC+ brings shows and movies from AMC’s family of networks, while BritBox is heavily focused on British television. MGM+ adds more movies and original series, PBS Masterpiece specializes in dramas and other PBS programming, and Starz rounds things out with its own movies and original shows.
That variety gives the bundle a little bit of everything. Someone who jumps between British mysteries, prestige dramas, movies, and original series could potentially find more value here than someone subscribing for just one particular show.
One Subscription Also Means Fewer Bills to Manage
Price isn’t the only headache that comes with having several streaming subscriptions. Tracking different billing dates, payment information, renewals, and cancellations can quickly become another chore.
Amazon’s approach puts the five services inside Prime Video, giving you one place to access and manage them. Instead of maintaining separate subscriptions across several providers, the bundle keeps the services under a single monthly payment.
Streaming Bundles Are Becoming the New Normal
The streaming world was once supposed to make television simpler, but the number of individual services has made things complicated again. Viewers now have to find movies, sports, live TV, and original shows spread across a long list of subscriptions.
Bundles have increasingly become one way to bring some of those services back together. Instead of paying for each platform separately, you can choose packages that group several services under a single price and billing system, and Amazon’s new bundle follows the same model.
Amazon Wants Prime Video to Be Your Streaming Hub
The company isn’t replacing its own Prime Video programming with third-party services. Instead, it’s increasingly positioning the platform as a place to find and manage more of your streaming subscriptions alongside Amazon’s own content.
The new $30-per-month five-service bundle is its biggest example of that strategy so far. And at 39% off, this bundle makes the price easier to swallow for anyone already interested in several of the included services.
