Remember when you’d race home after school, flip on the TV, and watch four pizza-obsessed turtles flip through the sewers while scarfing down slices like it was their last meal? That goofy, heroic vibe never really left us, and now Paramount is taking it straight from the cartoon to your plate.
The entertainment giant is reportedly planning Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles-themed pizzerias, with one expected in Santa Monica, California, and two more slated internationally in Monterrey, Mexico, and São Paulo, Brazil. Word is that there are more locations expected to open later this year.
Paramount hasn’t shared the practical stuff yet, so details such as what the menu is going to look like or who the operating partner is still remain a mystery. What we do know is that the restaurants are being treated as one part of a bigger TMNT push.
The company is also reportedly launching Teeny Mutant Ninja Turtles, a preschool-targeted CG-animated series comprising 30 four-minute episodes that explore Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo’s childhood training days, slated for YouTube release later this year
On the publishing front, Paramount is covering both younger and older fans: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splinter’s Dojo, a middle-grade illustrated novel from Scholastic that drops the turtles into middle school antics (set for a September 2026 release), and a prose novel adaptation of the acclaimed The Last Ronin from Abrams, aimed at adult readers with its gritty revenge storyline.
Add to that, toys are apparently in the pipeline as well. The company has signed a multi-licensing agreement with Mattel for new TMNT products, including action figures and related gear, expected to hit shelves in 2027.
All in all, from pizza spots to preschool episodes, books, and fresh merch, Paramount is giving TMNT fans plenty to look forward to in 2026 and beyond.
