These days, pretty much everyone wants to get in on the latest tech. And that includes high-fashion brand, Louis Vuitton. The French fashion outlet has just released its own portable speaker that adopts a rather unique form factor. The Louis Vuitton Horizon Light Up Speaker is the company’s latest tech accessory and features a mix of glass, steel, and leather materials accompanied by 35 LED lights in the middle.

Of course, you will also find the company’s signature monogram on the device — specifically on the speaker grill.

But apart from having premium materials, what makes the LV Horizon speaker stand out is its interesting shape. Instead of the usual pill, cube, or cylinder form factors you normally see on portable speakers, LV’s Horizon speaker looks more like a prop from Inception.

Despite its odd design, this portable speaker actually houses decent hardware for its size. It accommodates a 3-inch subwoofer paired with 0.75-inch tweeters. There’s also a microphone on-board for calls and can last up to 15 hours on a single charge. It also supports Bluetooth and AirPlay 2.

The speaker has a display dock that lets the speakers stand upright. According to the company, the speakers along with the dock can serve as a centerpiece or display piece.

The company says that the design is based on its Toupie handbag which costs about $2,000 or more. The speaker on the other hand costs $2,890.

The Louis Vuitton Horizon Light Up speaker is already available for pre-order and will ship out at the end of the month.
