LG has officially announced the OLED evo W6 Wallpaper TV, now available for preorder starting at $5,499 for the 77-inch model. First revealed earlier this year, the W6 combines ultra-thin design with new wireless technology for a cleaner, more minimalist setup.

The new model is designed to blend seamlessly into living spaces while still delivering high-end performance. With a focus on design, brightness, and gaming features, LG is positioning the W6 as one of its most advanced OLED TVs yet.

Ultra-Thin LG Design with True Wireless Setup

The standout feature of the W6 is its 9mm-thin profile, designed to mount flush against the wall for a true “wallpaper” look. Unlike traditional TVs, the display sits nearly flat, eliminating gaps and creating a more integrated appearance.

The company is also introducing a True Wireless setup through its Zero Connect Box, which handles all input connections separately. The box can wirelessly transmit 4K video and audio up to 32 feet, eliminating the need for cables running directly to the screen.

The W6 is powered by LG’s Alpha 11 AI Processor Gen3, which uses AI to enhance picture quality and optimize sound. Combined with Hyper Radiant Color Technology and Brightness Booster Ultra, the TV can reach up to 3.9 times the brightness of standard OLED displays.

It also features Perfect Black and Perfect Color certifications, ensuring consistent contrast and accurate color reproduction across different lighting conditions. Plus, the addition of Reflection Free Premium technology helps reduce glare, making the TV easier to watch in bright rooms.

Built for Gaming and High Performance

LG is also targeting gamers with the W6. The TV supports 4K resolution at up to 165Hz with VRR, along with NVIDIA G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync Premium compatibility. These features help deliver smoother gameplay with reduced lag and screen tearing, making the W6 suitable for both competitive gaming and cinematic experiences.

Additionally, a new feature called Gallery+ allows the TV to double as a digital display when not in use, showcasing artwork, photos, or ambient visuals. This complements the flush-wall design, helping the TV blend into the room even when it’s not being used for entertainment.

Pricing and Availability

The LG OLED evo W6 Wallpaper TV is available for preorder now, with the 77-inch model starting at $5,499. The TV is part of LG’s broader 2026 OLED lineup, offering a premium option for users who want both top-tier performance and a design-focused display. With its ultra-thin design, wireless connectivity, and enhanced brightness, the W6 represents a new step forward in how TVs fit into modern living spaces.
