The Lenovo Smart Tab series was launched last year in hopes to give tablets more use at home when they’re most likely to be idle. The tablet/smart speaker hybrid became an innovation for the modern smart home and now Lenovo is introducing their new and improved smart tab, the M10 FHD Plus 2nd Gen with Google Assistant.

The Lenovo Smart Tab M10 is a significant improvement over its predecessor, the Smart Tab M8. It now houses a 10.3-inch FHD screen with a resolution of 1920×1200 and comes running Android 9. The Smart Tab M10 also switches to Google Assistant’s Ambient mode when docked and supplies you with relevant information such as time and weather on the screen. Google Assistant will, of course, be able to answer questions and perform other tasks all while docked and charging. Should you choose to do so, you can set the Smart Tab to act as a digital photo frame as well.

The Smart Tab M10 FHD Plus 2nd Gen with Google Assistant is expected to be available sometime this year. The Smart Tab M10 FHD Plus will start at $189.
