Have you ever imagined what it would look like to have a truly advanced, social humanoid robot right in your living room? If you have, then you are in luck, because that sci-fi concept is turning into reality a lot faster than expected. Realbotix, a robotics company, has officially shaken up the tech world by launching its brand-new “Echo” line of humanoid robots.
Designed primarily for companionship, wellness and one-on-one education, this fresh lineup brings next-level robotics straight to consumers.
A desktop buddy for your home office
The company is rolling out two distinct models to kick off the collection. For those looking for a compact desktop setup, the Echo Tabletop stands around 32 inches tall, weighs 25 pounds and is priced at $11,950.

The full-body $60k experience
The real headliner of the lineup is the full-body humanoid model, which commands a hefty $59,950 price tag. Standing between 72 and 77 inches tall and weighing roughly 90 pounds, the full-size model features 39 degrees of freedom to allow for fluid and almost human movement. As Realbotix CEO Andrew Kiguel noted, bots are built to genuinely care for and support people in meaningful ways.
“Echo robots represent a major step forward in Realbotix’s mission to improve human lives through social robots,” Kiguel said. “By focusing on companionship, education and wellness, we are creating companions that support, educate and care for people in meaningful ways.”

Multilingual chats powered by top AI models
What sets these humanoids apart is how deeply they integrate with everyday tech. The robots support over 100 languages, dynamically responding to whatever language is spoken to them. They also hook directly into major AI platforms from OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google.
Smart vision and lifelike conversation features
The Echo robots feature proprietary silicone skin, advanced facial expressions and chest-mounted speakers that deliver clear audio for communication. One of the most intriguing features of the robot is the optional Vinci Vision upgrade. The upgrade was added for enhanced interactions that allow the robot to identify people in the room, maintain fluid conversations and demonstrate situational awareness.

Choose your new robot personality
Having conversations with robotics might not be new to you as many people already own or at the minimum, had an interaction with Alexa. However, unlike Alexa—which is built as a single, consistent individual entity (even if you tweak her tone or voice), the new Echo humanoid robots from Realbotix are designed around four completely distinct characters.
Buyers can choose from four characters:
- Aria: Optimistic, curious and uplifting. Features light blue eyes and blonde hair; best suited for wellness, education and hosting.
- Mila: Empathetic, expressive and nurturing. Features green-hazel eyes and dark brown hair; tailored for healthcare, wellness and education.
- Dave: Analytical, witty and precise. Features pale green eyes and light brown hair; designed for education, greeter roles and healthcare.
- Amar: Confident, protective and steady. Features brown eyes and dark brown hair; ideal for hosting, wellness and healthcare.

Stay connected through digital twins
The coolest trick is the online digital twin feature that comes with the futuristic innovation. Every physical robot links up with an online counterpart that shares the exact same character preferences, voice and encrypted memories.
What this means is that you can chat with your robot’s character on your computer, tablet, or phone, and then pick up the exact same conversation seamlessly when you switch over to the physical machine.
Modular design and limited release dates
For customizability, the heads, faces and bodies can be swapped out separately if owners want to change up the aesthetic. Realbotix is starting with a strict, limited initial production run of just 25 full-body units and 225 tabletop models, with deliveries scheduled to kick off in 2027.
If you are interested in owning one of these cool robots and can afford them, reservations are open now. And if you are not, well, let’s just say keeping an eye for the official release would still be exciting.
