Game developer Rebellion Interactive has finally revealed the first gameplay trailer to the sequel of Evil Genius, Evil Genius 2.
First released way back in 2004, Evil Genus became a cult-classic and won the hearts of many fans. That is because Rebellion turned the tables and let the player manage an evil genius bent on world domination. And now, more than 10 years later, Evil Genius 2 takes that same storyline and adds refreshed graphics plus a couple of new gameplay elements, including the introduction of new anti-heroes, devices, and plots.
BAFTA-award winning composer, James Hannigan, who worked on the soundtrack for the first installment is also set to work on the sequel. More information will be revealed as Rebellion will be spilling the “evil beans” during the online digital games festival, Guerilla Collective Showcase.
Additionally, the studio will also give fans a behind-the-scenes look during a Twitch stream happening on June 17th featuring the game’s developers. Evil Genius 2 is set to launch on Steam sometime later this year.
